The Grand Open Innovation Challenge is a talent program in science and innovation created to encourage participants to propose technological solutions that address major mental health needs and are cost-effective, sustainable, and grounded in scientific evidence. The Open Innovation Challenge is an event built upon a co-creative and transdisciplinary approach, bringing together participants interested in designing and solving thematic challenges. It was designed to catalyze and accelerate innovation by empowering startups, non-profit organizations, and other innovation-focused institutions to access capital, develop and launch bold ideas, and build multidisciplinary teams of impact creators. Launched in 2023, the challenge targets innovation agents who propose transformative solutions to promote mental health among youth aged 14 to 24, within the scope of three distinct challenges.
