Supported by both public funding \u2013 as is the case with the State of S\u00e3o Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) \u2013 and private sources, the research project will look into focus areas where mental health knowledge is currently lacking.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row padding_top_multiplier=”2x” mobile_visibility=”hide” el_class=”cismElementoTexto”][vc_column width=”1\/5″ el_class=”icoCismElemento”]

Research Advancement<\/h2>\n

The first focus area centers on the need to research precision neuroscience in mental health more extensively. It will be integrated with the Brazilian High-Risk Transgenerational Cohort Study for Mental Conditions, which serves as a robust database for preparing researchers and students in next-generation mental health sciences, incorporating data from 2,511 children and adolescents tracked for over a decade.<\/p>\n

Relevance of Research<\/h2>\n

The second focus area is concerned with making research a more relevant driving force for emerging ideas in digital mental health, innovation, and entrepreneurship, creating an environment for the development of solutions that can be scaled and applied in Brazil and other resource-limited settings, where the effectiveness of these interventions can be tested in pragmatic trials.<\/p>\n
